30-day trial

If you are still hesitant to give The Coconut a try, don’t be! Our 30-day donation trial applies to every Coconut sold on our website, subject to the exclusions listed below, if you donate your Coconut to a charity of your choosing. Within 30 days after delivery of the Coconut, if The Coconut does not meet your highest expectations and you’ve identified a charity to which you will donate your Coconut, we will happily assist in initiating the process for a full refund.

How does it work?

To be eligible for a refund, you must:

  1. Within the 30 days following the delivery of your product to the shipping address provided upon the sale, contact our customer service department at service@gococonut.ca with the subject line “Request for Refund”.

  2. In your Request for Refund, please provide the customer service department your (i) order confirmation number and date of order, (ii) date of delivery (iii) explanation for the request for refund and (iv) name of intended charity that will accept the donation of your Coconut. Please wait for our customer service department to follow-up with next steps before proceeding with the donation.

  3. Our customer service department will follow-up with next steps. Once the Coconut has been donated, please obtain a donation receipt from your trusted charity and provide Go Coconut with a copy. Go Coconut will process your refund to your original payment method.

Exclusions

  1. Our 30-day trial only applies to our flagship product, The Coconut. It excludes all other products and play couches sold on our website.

  2. Promotional sales: While all Coconut products are covered by our limited lifetime warranty, purchases made at a discount during promotional events do not qualify for the “30-day trial” period.

  3. Damages to the Coconut during the 30-day trial are the customer’s responsibility. If damages would prevent the donation to a charity, no refund will be emitted.

  4. Go Coconut’s products bought from other retailers may not qualify for the 30-day trial. Each retailer has its own return policy, so please reach out to the store it was purchased from to inquire about any refund policy.

  5. Once a customer has returned a Coconut within their 30-day trial period, they are no longer eligible for another trial in the future. The trial policy is not transferable, and returns require a proof of purchase. Any Go Coconut products ordered through a third-party seller or website are not eligible for the 30-day trial, only purchases made through our website may be applicable. *To obtain a full refund, donating the product to charity is required. In the event you cannot donate your product, please contact our customer service department at service@gococonut.ca to discuss your options. A partial refund may be available for the return of your covers.  If your product was defective/damaged upon delivery, please review our return policy and contact our customer service department at service@gococonut.ca with any questions.

Why donate?

We choose to donate products to charity rather than getting them back from you for a few reasons:

  1. The technical side:
    Once foam has decompressed after opening the package, finding a box to fit everything would be impossible, and no shippers in North America would accept it.

  2. The environmental side:
    While we can accept the covers back to be re-sold through our Re-Loved program, foam is hard to upcycle and difficult to recycle. To respect our engagement towards the environment, we prefer ensuring that foam will have a permanent home to ensure it does not end in landfills.

  3. The social aspect:
    Making families happy is part of who we are. For us, donating unwanted products is just another way we all can contribute to the wellness of our local communities.
